English may be the official company language, but at German locations, much of the everyday work still happens in German. When speaking practice is limited, different patterns can develop.
One international company. Two possible paths.Strong expertise · Limited everyday English practice
Path one · Without regular practice
When English stays something employees rarely use
A familiar routine
German-speaking colleagues feel comfortable using German together, so everyday English exposure stays limited.

AI and written notes can help employees prepare polished phrasing. But when the conversation takes an unexpected turn, finding their own words in the moment can still feel difficult.
Even with something valuable to add, employees may hesitate to ask or share their ideas.
Small differences in tone and cultural expectations can quietly create confusion.
The pattern continues.
Without regular speaking opportunities, the next important conversation can feel just as challenging.
Path two · With ongoing coaching
When employees get regular support using English
A space to practice
Regular online coaching makes active English communication part of an employee's routine.

Coaching focuses on real calls, presentations, and the questions no script can predict.
With practice, employees can respond more freely and share their thoughts in the moment.
Clearer wording and awareness of cultural differences help people work together.
Practice creates momentum.
Every conversation becomes an opportunity to apply what's been learned and keep growing.
The difference isn't necessarily how much English employees know. It's whether they have the chance to actively use it.
My approach
Less memorizing. More communicating.
Your employees already bring expertise, experience, and valuable ideas to the table. My role is to help them communicate what they know, clearly and confidently, in English.

The person behind the coaching
Hi, I'm Sapana.
I'm an American English and intercultural communication coach who has lived and worked in Germany for over a decade.
I help German-speaking professionals express complex ideas clearly, confidently, and naturally in English. Because I'm fluent in German, I also understand the cultural expectations that shape international communication.
Your employees don't need to sound like native speakers. They need to feel confident expressing the expertise they already have.
Let's work together
Let's make English communication a strength across your team.
Supporting a handful of managers or employees across departments? I'd love to explore what an ongoing partnership could look like.
